Indeed, even sophisticated investors with an eye to the Japanese government's eventual default/inflation seem to be a bit puzzled as to what the finances really are. So, this year, instead of a political narrative, I decided to focus instead on assembling some background numbers and information about the financial situation there. I hope you like it.
