going back to 1796? The cost of a haircut? Specifically, this is the
Warren Pearson Index for New York, a study dating from 1933. These
aren't even nationwide prices, but prices just for New York City. Do
you think that maybe corn and wheat could have a different price in New
York than Kentucky? In the days of horse-drawn wagons, it did.
